I dont understand the previous negative reviews...? I have been going here for years and the food has been always good. I have never received bad service. The service is average but never bad. Everything is fresh and tasty. Our favourites are Dynamite roll, Volcano Roll, Bonsai Roll to name a few.. Don't listen to the previous negative reviews - makes no sense why they are complaining! Wabora is an awesome place for lunch or dinner. The staff is friendly, the atmosphere enjoyable and clean. I highly recommend making reservations to eliminate wait time for seating. The food is amazing every time I go and is perfect for a special occasion or just for a nice dinner out. I don't think it is that expensive for the quality of food you are receiving, however the alcohol drinks are on the pricey side. I highly recommend Wabora. It's my favorite place to eat in Muskoka! I went over the weekend with my friends for dinner, and the food was great. We were unsure of where to go out to but we were able to find Take online from their website. The food was amazing and their services were great. It wasn't too expensive and the fish was very fresh. I especially enjoyed their Tuna. I went the other day with a couple of friends and I have to say it was a nice cozy place to spend the day with a couple of friends. The sushi was tasty, the service was great. They were so polite and friendly. To the person below, this is Canada. Not Japan or anywhere else in Asia, where their specialties are Asian food. Also didn't help the fact you had high expectations going in which could have affected your overall impression. "Worst sushi" is not something I would use for this restaurant. We used the take out service from the diner and they were very fast and actually FOUND our apartment, which is rare. The food is the best I've had from any asian restaurant. The selection on the menu is fabulous, offering dishes from several different areas. Nothing was greasy or overcooked. We will definetly eat here again. Today was my first visit to Hockey Sushi. I was more than impressed! The service was FAST, and they food was amazing. So much variety. The concept of this buffet so so unique, but it makes so much sense! Everyone can get what they want, with little to now waste, and no contamination from other guests. outstanding...the food was incredible, very fresh, rolls were well put together and just a splendid assortment of items to choose from. The service was very good, they didn't miss one item of about 20 ordered off the all you can eat menu and they were quite pleasant compared to other Sushi restaurants I have visited. Atmosphere was also good, with a choice of open table or booth. I used to drive to Scarborough for good Sushi, I will no longer be making that trip.
