This Mandarin is still pretty new and clean inside so that is definately a big plus if cleaniness is important to you. The food selection is pretty good and some dishes are actually pretty good. nice decor, very tropical like~ my brother and I ordered small sized Pho /w our choice of 3 items in it, it came out fast and steaming hot~ Thai basil was really fresh, like they just picked them up from basil plant a minute ago, awesome~ we also ordered 3 skewers of beef Shish Kobab, mid-well interior was excellent and juicy~ we also ordered fried lemon grass chick wings, this is really bland, we had to add white peppers and hot sauce to make the wings eat-worthy, other than that, the wings are pretty juicy and moist~ finally, the reason why we won't come back to this restaurant is because there was a server cleaning the chop sticks on table at that night~ she dropped a chop stick on the floor (by accident), and she glanced at the fallen chop for a sec, and pick it up, and return it to the cleaned tray of chop sticks~ pretending nothing had ever happened~ that was so horrifing because we might be using the dirty chop sticks~ Yak~ triple Yak~ I mean, couldn't she just return the dirty chop stick in the "to be washed" bin and just get over it~ NEVER EVER return it to the tray of cleaned chop sticks~ this happened around 11:10 pm on June 1st, 2010~ Lire plus

Service was pretty good considering we were eating in an asian establishment. Tea was topped up, food was replenished quickly, and the side dishes kept coming. I didn't use their washroom but the location is accessible by TTC or Car. Nice spacious dining area and it was clean. I liked how food was coming non-stop. We had so much food that night - great bang for our buck. Although the taste of the food was a little bland (compared to other Korean BBQ places), the side dishes made up for it. Congee is absolutely amazing! It's the best I've had. Noodles are cooked amazingly and perfectly with the perfect amount of sauce... Fried Rice was also very nicely cooked. The food there will always be amazing... The owners there constantly keep an eye on the chef. They can smell any imperfections in your dish (eg. more wine, more sauce, etc). The food was excellent. Absolutely no complaints about the food. Loved the food. My complaint about this restaurant is its size and decor. We went for lunch on a weekend and there were a lot of customers. The restaurant felt too small and needed a bigger room. The tables and chairs were uncomfortable, especially the design of the chairs. The tables were crowded close together so it felt claustrophobic. Maybe try to get a more comfortable booth near the window. The food is good and that's probably why there are many customers in that medium-small room. Lire plus

I hosted my birthday party this past April at Casa Manila (group of 30!) I was esctastic to discover that they hosted a Sunday brunch buffet with their top menu selections. Mila was my contact and she was AMAZING. Food was absolutely delicious! I had several guests with a diverse array of dietary restrictions (including vegetarian and no pork).
